What a fantastic opportunity for our dancers, supporters and participants of DanceAbility's Golf Day to be involved in on such a wonderful Spring day. The occasion was memorable in bringing our Community together to share an exciting experience and our thanks goes out to the amazing members and staff of Woollahra Golf Club and to the many sponsors, supporters and DanceAbility's volunteers in ensuring the success of this event. Their generosity was greatly appreciated.
Thousands of Sydney-siders turned out to celebrate 11 years of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival on Sunday 18th September 2011, including a devoted group of DANCEABILITY supporters.
To everyone who did make the day truly inspirational by creating a fundraising page thank you.
Your support will make a difference because the sponsorship you raised will help DanceAbility to continue to meet the needs of children and adults with disabilities in our community through music and dance.

In July 2010 DanceAbility Australia entered the Open Category in the "Focus on Ability" short film competition hosted by NOVA Employment.
Titled "It's All About Ability" the film focuses on the students "Ability" rather than their "Disability."
The general public voted online for their favourite short film and over 34,000 people logged on to view and vote in the people's choice award. On 25th August the DanceAbility Troupe had the pleasure of attending NOVA Employment's Award Ceremony at Hoyts Cinemas, Fox Studios Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park. Many a tear was shed watching all the outstanding films. The DanceAbility troupe had the opportunity to perform a couple of routines for the audience.
At the end of the evening DanceAbility was awarded first place in the Open Category and took home a massive $5,000, which will help go towards uniforms and continue to run the school.
